Gilad Hayeem
EMES Co-Founder

EMES Partner Gilad Hayeem is a co-founder of EMES and remains Senior Advisor to Mr. Steinberg. Mr. Hayeem is a founder of Waverly Group and former president of Solid Biosciences, which listed on Nasdaq in 2018.

Previously Mr. Hayeem co-founded Marble Bar (MBAM LLP) where he was Managing Partner and CEO until 2010. There he was responsible for governance, business development, and strategic relationships. Mr. Hayeem arrived at MBAM via Kyte Fund Management, which became Marble Bar in 2002.

From 1992 to 1998 Mr. Hayeem worked at the London Financial Futures and Options Exchange (LIFFE), as Head of Business Development in Asia.

Mr Hayeem has a BA (Hons) in International History & Politics from Leeds University and an MBA in Finance from City University, London. 

Anthony Steinberg
EMES Co-Founder

EMES Partner Anthony Steinberg is a co-founder of EMES and its Chief Investment Officer. Previously Mr Steinberg was a partner at Whitehead Mann, having joined in 1996. He then co-founded and was Partner at Inzito LLP in 2004, later becoming an external consultant to the group. Mr. Steinberg led the development of debt and equity markets practices, specializing in proprietary trading.

From 1994 he worked at Tradition (UK) where he was a fixed income derivatives broker. Prior to that he was with BDO Stoy Hayward between 1992 and 1994 where he worked in corporate recovery and insolvency.

Mr. Steinberg has a BA (Hons) in International History and Politics from Leeds University and has passed his Investment Management Certificate.
